The Women’s Enterprise Foundation (WEF), a 501(c)3 foundation, was established to financially assist and recognize women entrepreneurs who have demonstrated a business development need and who would benefit from specialized educational training opportunities for small business owners. Some of the programs funded by WEF include NAWBO Phoenix Chapter Mentoring Program for women business owners; Camp CEO workshops for high school girls, Leadership Training for entrepreneurs and others.
The funds that support this program are raised by board members and generous supporters of WEF through its regular charitable activities and are dispersed by a quorum of the WEF board membership.
The Women’s Enterprise Foundation fundraising events are not the run-of-the-mill golf tournaments and fashion shows, but are events that members of the community eagerly anticipate and willingly support.
