WHAT WE DO
The Women’s Enterprise Foundation (WEF) is a 501(c)3 charitable organization that supports and inspires emerging women business owners within the greater Phoenix area who have a demonstrated business development need or who would benefit from specialized educational training and development opportunities.
Our mission is to support and inspire
such enterprising women with scholarships
and grants that enable them to further their education, leadership
skills and opportunities to succeed.
WEF is proud to be a recurring primary financial supporter of the Phoenix Metropolitan Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Mentoring Program.
WHY WE DO IT
WEF recognizes that as the economic power of women increases, employment rises, communities thrive and the local economy improves.
WEF facilitates the circle of giving by providing support to women business owners, confident that their success will multiply and benefit many others.
WEF believes that women are the glue for their communities. They participate in, orchestrate and mediate relationships, opportunities and business growth.
HOW WE DO IT... AND HOW YOU CAN HELP
The funds that support WEF scholarships, grants and programs are raised, in large part, through fundraising events that are attended and generously funded by individuals and organizations committed to providing women with opportunities to fulfill their dream of entrepreneurship.
We offer a variety of sponsorship, donor and volunteer opportunities. In return, we provide visibility for your business and your civic-minded generosity at our events and through our publicity efforts.
The funds that support this program are raised by board members and generous supporters of WEF through its regular charitable activities and are dispersed by a quorum of the WEF board membership.
The Women’s Enterprise Foundation fundraising events are not the run-of-the-mill golf tournaments and fashion shows, but are events that members of the community eagerly anticipate and willingly support.
